An Amazing Mountainfilm 2009!
Mountainfilm is dedicated to educating and inspiring audiences about issues that matter, cultures worth exploring, environments worth preserving and conversations worth sustaining.
This year's Mountainfilm was, yet again, an educational and inspirational weekend filled with amazing films! Some of my favorites this year because you walk away with the feeling that anything is possible are Big River Man (man swims the amazon river), Revolution One (extreme unicycling), The Sharp End (rock climbing pushed to the limit), and Look to the Ground (Story of a blind mountain biker).
There were also some excellent educational films shown this year, such as, Ken Burn's National Parks series,Mustang-Journey of Transformation, At the Edge of the World, Charcoal Traffic, and Food Inc. See some film clips HERE.
The weather for this year's festival was ever-changing. It seemed to only rain when a movie was playing and then you would walk oustide to the sun beaming out of the clouds with an occasional rainbow or two. Another beautiful, inspiring weekend for the Telluride MountainFilm Festival!!
