It's the most wonderful time of year in Telluride! With beautiful snowy days and our picturesque Box Canyon main street as a backdrop, Telluride offers the most ideal setting for your holiday vacation. Holiday Prelude kicks-off the early holiday season with festive events from December 5th-16th.

In celebration of the 'Holiday Prelude', several new events have been added to the calendar including a Holiday Bonfire in Elks Park on December 8th, A Special Holiday Art Walk in various galleries in town on December 15th and Holiday Ice Skating Party in Telluride Town Park also on December 15th.

Other events include Noel Night, a night of discounts up to 40 % off items at stores in Telluride, Old Fashioned Christmas at Schmid Ranch, complete with tree cutting, wreath making and hot chocolate and Jingle Jam a night of store discounts in Mountain Village.

Don't forget the kids! Stop by the Wilkinson Public Library during many of the days to enjoy holiday story time, cookie decorating, ornament making and classic holiday movie showings inlcuding great films like the original "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas,' 'Elf,' 'A Muppet Christmas Carol,' and 'A Christmas Story.'

To see a full list of events going on (and there are a lot!) visit the website at www.holidayprelude.com. Lodging starts at only $69 per room, per night. Ski and stay packages are available from $98 per person, per night.
